Hello everyone. I am writing this, and the sun is shining which means spring and then summer is well on its way. I used to prefer winter because I could wear more layers, now I want to be in shorts, a t-shirt and flipflops, preferably with a glass of wine white.

I’ve got a break from filming for a few weeks so I’m able to take part in some more SMF stuff, so I hosted a live workout on Tuesday morning, I really enjoyed it, nothing too strenuous but it was good fun and I’ll be doing another one tomorrow morning (Monday 29th) at 9am.
Staying with workouts, all of Ann-Marie’s Saturday workouts are now all on the site. Well done Libby for getting them up there. Ten weeks’ worth of full body conditioning and back to basics core workout.

There have been a couple of blogs, one from Kat, our nutritionist and one from me on being good to yourself, talking to yourself as if you were talking to a friend. I’m into this mindfulness stuff, I think it’s key to what we’re trying to achieve here, so we are continuing to work with the brilliant psychologist Bernie, who specialises in our mental approach to eating. There will be some great stuff coming from her soon. Anna has, of course, brought you all a gorgeous new recipe – this time a breakfast wrap! We also are starting to build our cookery basics section too. Look out for a new one on how to cook the perfect scrambled eggs. 

There were live chats with me and Libby on Saturday, bring a glass of wine to these if you’re in party mood, I may well have a G&T, I also did a live cook along with Anna on Sunday where we pan fried some mackerel and served it with a pineapple salsa.

We are looking to grow our ‘success stories’ section of the site, so if you would like to share your story with others please send a message to help@showme.fit.

We are also just about to start running a ‘refer a friend’ scheme for ShowMe.Fit so keep your eyes peeled for that one. Start gathering some friends in mind who might want to join ShowMe.Fit… it will be worth it!

THIS WEEK…

Next week there will be more blogs, one from me and one from one of our resident experts, there will be of course new recipes and more live stuff. More workouts with Ann-Marie, a live workout with me on Monday 29th at 9am and a cook along on Thursday 1st at 5pm with me and Anna (we are going to be making Pea and Watercress soup with a poached egg).
I’ve been talking to chef friends and we will have some celebrity healthy recipes coming. They won’t be filmed; they will just be recipes from a book with a photograph to accompany them. I’m really looking forward to building up a big catalogue of celeb chef recipes.
