Have a look at what our week entailed…

Hello,

We started this week with a blog from me about giving stuff up and my relationship with smoking. It’s only a short one and won’t take you a couple of minutes to read so please take a look.

Dr Kev then wrote you all a blog for Wellness Wednesday. This time his blog was all to do with finding time to make this healthy living thing work. We see a lot of comments along the lines of ‘I don’t have time to…’ (fill in the blank with something that is being avoided.) and it is something I wanted him to address. He sums up so beautifully our thought process and our way of working. Please do give it a read and absorb the information. He is a clever guy and really knows what he is talking about.

We, of course, continue to give you all 6 new recipes every week. This week’s new recipes have gone down so well with our members which is amazing. You’ve all been utilising the new search bar on the site and we are really pleased about that. These things take quite a while to put into place so when they are a success with our members it makes up really happy.

Simon Wood has also been on our site this week. His 10 Mins With… interview was released. We love that man, he is such a decent man and has done so well for himself. He’s a pure talent.

Just keeping you updated with where we are at… we are still getting ready for Christmas and getting everything sorted. We are also still working on a yoga and mindfulness section and making Tammy another one of our expert friends. We have received your ‘members stories’ and are working on getting them on the site! It fills us with so much pride reading your stories. If you would like to share yours please send us an email to help@showme.fit – apart from that we continue to bring you all 6 new recipes every week and new workouts every month. We hope you are still working hard and achieving wonderful things.

It is really easy to lose track in the colder months as there are far more sweet treats around, you’ve got this. You started for a reason so don’t let it all go for the sake of some biscuits! If you fall off track, just jump straight back on at the closest possible chance and keep gong. The world seems to be going crazy at the moment and it is proving to be so tough for so many. Remember you aren’t alone and you will all get through this.

Next Week…

Next week there will be the standard 6 new recipes, blog from me, blog from one of our experts and another 10 mins with…

We are going to be getting more from Dr Kev this week too, a new interview should be coming and maybe some more posts. He’s such a busy guy that we may have to be patient.

Look after yourselves please, the nasty Covid is still with us, lose a couple of pounds and enjoy your new fitter life – stay healthy and safe!
